gas lawn mower

I was trying to get my lawn mower to work. And since weve been doing electrical thats what i stareted with first. So i started at the battery after i charged it and it read at 12.6. Then i went to the selaniod and seen no power so i cleaned off the bolts, and reconected the wires to the selanoid and the lawn mower started right up!
